The Events team are amazed at how many businesses have supported their efforts to provide Christmas in Waterlooville. Our thanks must go to Archibald and Edwards Estate agents for copying carol sheets and contributing; also Inhome Care in Horndean who sent a cheque. Also not to be forgotten are the Lions of Havant who sent a donation of £250. Leaders Estate agents, Edwards Funeral care, Co-op funeral care and the library also copied song sheets to ensure there will be no reason not to join in the carol singing around the Christmas tree tomorrow. STAGECOACH PERFORMNG ARTS - SUMMER FETE

We are lucky enough to have Stagecoach Theatre school perform at the Waterlooville Summer Fete. These talented youngsters will be in the arena at 1.10pm Stagecoach offer drama classes for children aged 4-18 years. They provide quality part-time training in the performing arts and welcome all students in our local area. Stagecoach Havant performed 'CATS' at the NIA, Birmingham. They regularly perform in 'Elevate' at the Princes Theatre, Aldershot and Kings Theatre, Southsea and this year will have a group performing at Disneyland Paris. As part of the UK's largest network of part-time performing arts schools for children, Stagecoach Havant is more than just a stage school, theatre school and drama school. Before opening Stagecoach Havant, Juli taught for Stagecoach schools at Winchester and Totton for nine years. Waterlooville Community & Business meeting 3rd Sep 7pm

I recently asked someone why I should come to this meeting.... 'I live in Waterlooville and I have a business in Waterlooville but how can this meeting help me' I asked. You might be asking yourself the same thing, but there may be things happening in Waterlooville that you have questions about, or you might find out about things happening in the community that could have an impact on you. Councillor Tim Pike will be there, as well as members of the Waterlooville Events Team. Tim is deputy leader and also cabinet lead for regeneration of the community. Getting to know the teams of people who are working in the local community as Councillors or volunteer can really help you to know who can help with any questions. If you want your voice to be heard, is it not better to be among other community members to share ideas, share concerns or simply to find out what is going on in the area.
