CINEMA FIRST BIRTHDAY

What a fantastic night at the Waterlooville monthly cinema in St Georges Hall. Not only was the film good (Breathe - very emotive and worth seeing. A true story about a man who contracted polio and the difference he made to those suffering from the disease) but it was also a celebration of the cinema achieving its first birthday. For 12 months the community have been supporting this pop up cinema. You really must go to the next one...Thursday 26/4/18 7pm Goodbye Christopher Robin.

SUMMER FETE SUCCESS

The sun shone and the families came to see the 80 stalls, arena events, animals, dog show, horse and carriage, etc etc. What a fabulous day. Being a volunteer with Waterlooville Events team it was an exhausting day but also had a sense of satisfaction that we had achieved it for another year. The day started at 7am to put up our gazebo, then getting the toilets in place and then the stalls on the field. It calmed until we had to get them off at the end of the day. So home at 5pm for relaxation. 18 volunteers ran the day. Many before hand - booking stalls; organising arena; doing the relevant paperwork with various authorities; finding the funding; etc etc. What we need are more volunteers. Why don't you help. Many hands make light work!! Be an elf in the xmas grotto, or even be a santa!! Why not help with the Xmas event?? or help us with the brand new event in May Waterlooville Carnival in the...

Come and see Santa at Waterlooville library. Only £2 per child or £5 for 3 children. Various dates available. Check out our poster for more information. Really great fun and experience for your little ones.
